Juicing may well be a controversial topic and there are indeed some who claim that the real health freaks are overselling it, but one thing that every one agree on – fanatics and critics alike – is that there are some very real benefits to it.

All in all, this helps you stay healthy, lose weight, and get out of bad habits. How? Well, it’s simple. Juices are packed with amazing vitamins and minerals, which help you stay healthy and avoid getting ill. As so much is packed in such a small volume, it is also a great way of losing weight – you simply get what you need, not a tablespoon more!

The Vitamin Benefit

By regularly drinking healthy juice you have a way of ensuring that your body gets a great number of essential vitamins and minerals. This is definitely one of the most positive sides of it, as it has an influence on pretty much every aspect of your life – it makes you happier and healthier, it helps you get up in the morning and makes you feel more rested overall.

But it is not a miracle cure – for example, it still doesn’t give you an abundance of vitamin B12, which is primarily found in meat and dairy products. It’s a vitamin that’s known for being hard to get for for example vegans, and the same goes for people who live primarly from juice. If you plan to have it as a major part of your diet, either for a shorter period of time or for the rest of your life, you really should check with your doctor to make sure you get everything you need.

Way of Getting Rid of Habits

Science shows us that the very best way of getting rid of a bad habit is to replace it with a good one. Many people have tried giving up smoking or drinking for decades, and then finally finds it extremely heavy when they try it. If you for example smoke, you can start making a nice glass of juice every time you feel the need to puff, slowly changing your old nasty habit into a new, tasty one!

There are clearly a great number of benefits to it, even if some of the greater ones – like some proponents claiming it drives away cancer – might be overblown. What’s your favourite reason? Or is it maybe just the taste?
