This Brassica juice recipe was tried as part of a juice fast, using the juice fast recipes from the documentary “Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead”. It was very filling, as we took it as a dinner juice, and tasty. We definitely recommend this juice recipe if you have a juicer, and want to incorporate healthier choices to your diet.
One of the great things about this recipe is that it contains fresh, raw broccoli, which is a super food. On top of that, you also have kale (we used spinach as a substitute, kale sometimes isn’t available) and lemon, which are ultra rich in vitamins.
tip: Always cut to fit into chute of juicer. Juice greens / leaves first or in between the apple and broccoli stalks to help pulling more juice out of them!

Juice fountains fall into two gropus regarding the way they work. Essentially all juice fountains reduce fruit and vegetables to a pulp or viscous liquid by breaking down their fabric, but they do so in one of two ways; either they chew it between rotating jaws or spin it like a liquidizer, these types tend to be slightly cheaper and less robust, or they crush the materiel between coarsely threaded pinions like interlocking screws. These type of juice fountains are usually stronger and suitable for heavy duty juicing, particularly in commercial or very busy environments.
