Trying out the Breville 800JEXL is what I would call an absolute pleasure – this is quite clearly one of the highest quality juicers currently on the market, and it’s one of those machines where you start looking for flaws after a while as you keep going and still haven’t found anything wrong.
I’ve looked at a great number of juicers throughout this ongoing craze, and there is without a doubt great difference from one model to the next. It depends a lot on what you’re going through, and the simplest way to put it is that the money do matter – you can get a juicer really cheaply, but it’s likely to be entirely unsatisfying and to break much sooner than you expect. You can get a medium priced juicer and get quite a lot from it, but if you use it daily you’ll likely find yourself searching for something more after a while. This is where models such as the this come into play.
The Powers of the BrevilleJuice Fountain Elite 800JEXL
The Breville 800JEXL Juice Fountain Elite 1000-Watt Juice Extractor, as that’s its full name – is quite an interesting machine in many ways. This is a surprisingly powerful juicer which, as one reviewer on the net points out, could probably do well on the side as a wood chipper. As a result, it won’t protest against even the hardest vegetables, which is a big plus for me. I’ve tried several juicers before where you had to cut up for example carrots into smaller pieces, which obviously takes a lot of extra time. With this juicing machine I never encountered this problem – just pump in the produce and watch the juice come out.

Apart from this, it’s also powerful enough to stand being used for a really long duration. In one of my tests I made bulk juice by running it over five hours in one go, and it didn’t say a peep in protest. So if you’re going to make a lot of juice at once – or for that matter if you’re going to use it several times a day for smaller portions – this is the one for you.
Pros and Cons of a Breville 800JEXL Juicer
Another plus side is the big feed tube measuring at 3’’, which makes it easy to pump in a lot of vegetables or fruits in no time. But along with this there’s also a little something that might make some people stay away – this machine is big. Unfortunately, it’s big enough to maybe scare away some people, especially apartment owners with small kitchen space. On the other side, I do think it’s worth its space considering what it actually does for your kitchen. It’s a powerful machine that needs its space, and unless you’re already really desperate for kitchen space I would say it’s worth it.
The other negative side, at least for some people, is money. This is a pricey juicer, no doubt about it, but at the same time this is a machine that will last throughout the ages and then some. It’s without a doubt one of the strongest, most powerful, and most effective juicers you will ever get your eye one, and it will certainly outlive quite a number of cheaper, lower quality juicers.
Weighing Everything – is it Worth it?
So summarizing everything, the good and the bad, is this juicing machine really worth it? I would suggest you make up your own mind concerning the values of money and kitchen space as opposed to power and effectiveness. How big a part juicing actually is of your daily life is of course an important factor that cannot be overlooked, and if you’re on a diet where you need juice every day that will of course play into how much you spend on a juicer.
