January is here, which means it is time for a round-up of last year’s “best of”.
What better to start with than the best juicing books of 2018?
We went through some good ones, some great ones and some absolute favourites. Here is a list of the top 5 that I will take with me into 2019 – these should not be missed! Best juicing books of 2018 – here you go!
1. The Big Book of Juices: More Than 400 Natural Blends for Health and Vitality Every Day
The Big Book of Juices is great for beginners as well as more experienced juicers – it is the ultimate guide for ingredient combos. The book contains recipes for both juicers and blenders. So even if you haven’t invested in a juicer yet, you can start with this book, try it out with your blender and be full of ideas once you’ve found the perfect juicer.
2. The Everything Juicing Book
A collection of 150 recipes, this book is great for beginners trying to incorporate more fruits and vegetables into their lifestyles. It covers the basics of juicing, detoxification and weight loss. The Everything Juicing Book is easy to navigate and great for those taking their first steps with juicing.
3. The Juicing Bible: Second Edition
The name says it all. This book delves into some of the most important topics of juicing; overcoming common health concerns, information about vegetables, fruits and herbs, and explains the body system in a readable way.
In total the book contains 350 recipes! Some of the ingredients might seem a bit advanced for beginners, so I would say this book is great for those who have at least some experience with juicing.
4. The Reboot with Joe Juice Diet: Lose Weight, Get Healthy and Feel Amazing
This one is a gem. Joe Cross is a living proof of the wonder that juicing can do, which makes this book very inspiring. Joe manages to make the task of juicing seem exciting and do-able, which is an attitude we like! You can follow his juicing plan or start slow with one recipe per day, it’s up to you! I’ve recommended this book to all of my friends this year.
5. Juicing for Life: A Guide to The Benefits of Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Juicing
This book is great for those trying to overcome a health issue or condition by juicing (of course it is always recommended to see a doctor about any health condition, but juicing along with proper medical advice can do wonders). The book covers which nutrients are good for tackling each health issue, along with recipes using those nutrients. The author, Cherie Calbom, writes about 75 different health problems in this great educational piece.
I hope you enjoyed this simple round-up of the best juicing books of 2018. Start of the year with one of these and take your health and wellbeing to the next level this year.
