The Scarlet Mix Recipe

3 Red Apples
1 Beetroot (a big one!)
1 Carrot
2 Celery stalks

Simply juice the apples and beets (sliced or not, depending on their size and which type of juicer you’re using), then the carrot and celery. Best served poured over ice, in a long glass, and enjoyed by your beloved body, and maybe shared with a beloved one?

Full of antioxidants, studies have suggested that Apple might be helpful in reducing the risks of developing many types of cancer. And these same antioxidant compounds could help protect the brain against neurological diseases such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s. Besides all that, the fibre present in apples reduces cholesterol levels and regulates digestion.

Beetroots are great for detoxifying! Full of antioxidants and natural sugars, these will give you an energy boost. The Beta-Carotene rich Carrot fills the body with Vitamin A, which is essential in order to have good vision. Finally, the lovely Celery, a superfood. It has so many qualities: anti-cancer, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, detoxifying, immunity boosting… AND it also helps to normalise the body’s acid-alkaline balance!

Easy to make and full of goodness, the The Scarlet Mix juice recipe will boost your immunity levels, helping to keep your energy levels up and the stress down. We wish you all a Happy (and healthy) Valentines Day!
