Many people come to our site due to interest in juicing for weight loss and asking how to juice to lose weight. The results achieved by all sorts of people from all over have shown this to be a plausible option for helping to shed away those extra pounds so many are desperate to get rid off. This would mean substituting meals for freshly blended fruit and vegetable juices, without compromising your nutritional intake. The amount of weight one ultimately loses depends on how long they go on a juice diet for and what it is that they juice.
Juicing Rules of Thumb:
Before looking into how to start juicing for weight loss, it is important to remember two fundamental rules:
- Vegetables assist in more rapid juicing weight loss than fruits, owing to the high sugar content found in the latter. Hence, it is advised to restrict the consumption of fruit juices to the morning and juice a ratio of 80% vegetables and 20% fruits to beat that bulge and stay fit.
- Do not add artificial sugar or sugar replacements to juices. This will only increase calorie intake. The mixture of spices like cinnamon, ginger and pepper boosts ones metabolism, where as sugar makes it sluggish.

A little tip as we conclude this juicing and weight loss marathon:
Not all of us that do juicing lose weight. But one of the first thing I was taught is to start each day by drinking a glass of lukewarm water with the juice of a freshly squeezed lime or lemon and one teaspoon of honey (optional). This helps to cleanse the body of all wastes accumulated through the night and flush out toxins. Whether or not you are juicing, we actually recommend starting each and every day like this.
